Young Community Developers and 100% College Prep Institute came together this summer to provide 240 struggling high school students, from San Francisco Unified School District, new hope and self confidence in their own abilities through tutoring and career preparation.

New dispute opens over LCAP reporting mandate
The spirit of the LCFF is one of flexibility and transparency, an old dispute continues over the comprehension of the two ideas with the State Board of Education’s debate over permanent regulations for LEA’s Local Control Accountability Plans. School Management Groups believe the new regulations limit flexibility due to excessive budgetary detail and will hinder student outcomes. Social justice groups have been advocating for additional expenditure reporting in the regulations since the birth of the LCFF.
